Statement of Rationale and Justification for the proposed Course Fee:

This course introduces students to the molecules and biochemical reactions that are vital to life. The laboratory has been administratively separated from lecture (BIO 1510) fall of 2021 so that students unable to complete the in person laboratory due to health concerns could continue to make degree progress.
