Creative Writing Minor

The Creative Writing Minor is designed to allow focus and credentialing for the many students across the university who enjoy reading and writing poetry, fiction, and other creative forms. The minor requires a minimum of 18 credits. English majors can only apply two major courses to this minor.

Select two elective courses from any English course at the 2000-level or higher 16

 Students may substitute one of the following assuming they have satisfied any prerequisite coursework and/or have permission from the course's home department: COM 4100, COM 5270, or THR 5721.
