The online Healthcare Business Administration program encompasses the business competencies needed to manage healthcare systems in a strategic, inclusive, ethical, and fiscally responsible manner for all stakeholders. The HMBA program’s mission is to equip current and future healthcare leaders with the skills necessary to excel in a continually evolving and diverse healthcare landscape by delivering an evidence-based curriculum and application-driven learning.

The M.H.B.A. program is a 36-credit Plan C (course work only) program that can be completed in three semesters of full-time study. Part-time students can complete the program in approximately two years (six semesters) by taking six credit hours per semester. In addition, up to 6 transfer credits for previous equivalent graduate coursework can be applied to the degree if those credits have not been counted towards a degree and are equivalent substitutes. 

The M.H.B.A. program consists of eleven required courses (33 credits) and one elective course (3 credits) for a total of 36 credits. All core courses are similar to the existing M.B.A. program except, the HBA courses will be focused on healthcare.
