The Bridge Graduate Certificate in AI-Enabled Construction Management is designed for professionals and recent graduates seeking to deepen their expertise in next-generation construction practices. This fully online,12 credit program can be completed in as little as one year, offering maximum flexibility for working professionals. The program equips students with core principles of project management and emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Virtual Reality (VR) Technologies, and Building Information Modeling (BIM). Students gain practical knowledge and hands-on insights into AI technology-enabled project management, developing their strong competencies for the future of AI-enabled construction environments.

Through this program, students will:

• Develop advanced AI competencies in project planning, estimating, and schedule optimization, leveraging AI-supported tools, machine learning, and data analytics.

Admissions Requirements

Admission to the Bridge Graduate Certificate in AI-Enabled Construction Management is contingent upon admission to Wayne State University’s Graduate School.

The minimum requirements for admission into this program are:

• Bachelor's degree (unofficial transcripts are accepted for the application, but official copies are required if admitted into the program).
• Minimum GPA of 2.8 in the upper division of their undergraduate program OR have at least three years of full-time work experience.

You may enroll either full-time or part-time, but all program requirements must be completed within three years of admission.

The Bridge Graduate Certificate in AI-Enabled Construction Management requires a total of 12 credits, which are listed below. All courses are offered in a one-year, fully online format within the Division of Engineering Technology.  The certificate program serves as a direct pathway into the Master of Science in Construction Management or the Master of Science in AI-Driven Construction Management.
